The Home Buying Journey…

Pre-approval

Sellers want to know you are financially ready to buy. This will be a letter indicating your are eligible for a loan from an accredited source.

Home Search

Now that you’re pre-approved, we can start searching for your next home! You’ll know when you find the RIGHT property.

Negotiate

There are many negotiation points in a contract. The most obvious is price, but we will also go over other important factors.

Contract

We will use the Tennessee Association of Realtors forms and contracts during your transaction. There are many important forms we will go over.

Appraisal

Your lender will want to make sure the home you’re interested in is equal to what you’re willing to pay. They will hire a third party to evaluate its worth.

Inspection

The inspection is your time to evaluate the home’s condition. I will hire a licensed home inspector to analyze the physical condition of the structure.

Sign Lender Disclosure

Your lender will send you a Closing Disclosure 3 days before closing. This is a document accounting for all monies involved in the transaction.

Day of Closing

On the day of closing, we will complete a final walkthrough of the property. The wire transfer will have also been scheduled for closing funds.

CLOSING!

You and I will sign all the documents with the Title Company. You are now officially closed and can enjoy your new home!
